Yesterday matches in Pool B of FIVB Women’s WCH gave us a lot of good emotions as we have witnessed some great volleyball rallies. Brazil and Serbia didn’t mislead their fans after scoring straight victories. The Turkish supporters might be a bit disappointed after their team lost vs. Bulgaria.

Cameroon couldn’t cause any big surprise in this match but continued to spread positive energy among all the volleyball people in Pala Trieste. Turkey 2- 3 Bulgaria

The team of Bulgaria took part in the most interesting match of the day, as same happened in the previous one in the game vs. Serbia. But while in the second day of the tournament the girls around head coach Vladimir Kuziytkin lost 2-3, in the match vs.Turkey they showed a better desire and fighting spirit till the end while winning 3-2 (20:25; 25:23; 25:18; 25:27; 15:12). The volleyball fans couldn’t be disappointed by what they saw because both teams showed us some great plays and remind us of why we love volleyball so much. Elitsa Vasileva from the winning team was the best with 26pts, while Neriman Ozsoy scored 20pts for Turkey.

Vladimir Kuzyitkin, head coach of Bulgaria: I am satisfied that my team played very well and both teams showed quality games. We came here with two targets : to show that we exist as a team and to fight till end in order not to disappoint our fans.”
