New revolutionary system presented in Brazil

The Penalty, in partnership with the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV), launched the Penalty D-Tech, a ball with new technology which help teams and arbitrators to clarify doubtful situations of ball landing.

"With the new system, you can know with precision if the ball fell inside or outside the court, beyond the speed at the time of the attacks. Again, the Brazilian volleyball is ahead of other countries. This innovation, of course, will be beneficial to the sport as a whole. We just have to gain from this new technology" - said Ary Graca, President of the CBV.

"This technology will bring a major technological breakthrough for the volleyball world", said Roberto Estefano, president of the Penalty.
 
Ary Graca reminded that the system does not replace the assistant referees, who remain in court for marking decisisions directly in the game. The President said that the CBV Penalty ball will be used next year in Brazilian volleyball Superliga.
