The clubs of Italian league proposed due to financial crisis in the world to the players association to reduce players wages.
This proposal was already discussed during the Italian TIM Cup final tournament in Forli. There has been meeting where clubs presented the proposition to the players. Propositions from the italian club is to cut 15 per cent of seasonal contract in excess of 30 thousand euros in the series A1 and 20,000 euros in a series of A2.
That is, if the amount of the contract to take the value of X, the new salary shall be calculated in euros as follows:
30000 + (X - 30000) multiplied by 0.85 (ie, minus 15%)
For visibility: player contract 300000 euros per season, will lose as a result of 40500 Euro.
(30000 + (300000 - 30000) x 0.85 = 30000 + 229500 = 259500)
