 Lube Banca Marche Macerata won the Italian Serie A1 TIM Cup. In the final match Macerata defeated Roma 3:0 in front of the 11000 spectators in DatchForum di Assago.
Macerata won the TIM CUP with a great style, without loosing single set. For the Lube Macerata this is the third Cup victory after those of 2001 and 2003. Victory dedicated to Paparoni and Rodrigao, injured during the event. MVP of the Final Four has been elected setter of Macerata Valerio Vermiglio. Macerata has its place in next year of Champions League already booked.
