Star of Skra Belchatow Bartosz Kurek did not play in the last game in Polish league against Jastrzebski Wegiel. As it turn out he suffers from his back injury. and perhaps, he may not go to Fivb World Cup which will start the 20th of November in Japan.
Kurek felt pain during one of tranings last week. However, the pain gave way soon and everything was fine until the warm-up in Jastrzebie.
"After one of attacks, I felt a horrible pain. I had to go to the presentation of starting six, because these are the rules, but I was not able to play. The worst thing is that I do not know what kind of injury it is, but hurts terribly" - Kurek said.
Polish fans have to believe that it is only the overload injury because Kurek is playing without a break since May, so he may be exhausted. If the injury proves serious, it will weaken Polish national team just before World Cup.
"The gruping before World Cup started in Spala on Sunday. I will join the rets of team on Monday because I am scheduled a resonance test in Lodz. Will I fly to Japan? The decision will be taken by Andrea Anastasi. "- Kurek added.
If Bartosz Kurek will not go to the World Cup, it will be a huge weakness not only for the Polish team but also for the attractiveness of the tournament because he is one of the best and most attractive of the young generation players.
