No surprise in German Cup

 In front of the 8000 spectators VfB Friedrichshafen gained another title, German volleyball Cup. Friedrichshafen had to fight with Evivo Düren till the last ball to reserve a spot in the Champions League 2008/09.
VfB Friedrichshafen was a favorite of the final, but german champion had in the legs tough match in Treviso. "Everybody thought it will be easy 3:0 victory, but our opponent played well and we knew it will be difficult for us", said Markus Steuerwald
Title victories are for the VfB Friedrichshafen routine. Especially in the DVV Cup, the 3:2 victory against evivo Düren meant for the team of Stelian Moculescu the tenth Cup victory in the last eleven years.
