Final in Italian Serie A1

 Semifinals are over in the italian championship. Itas Diatec Trentino and Nordmeccanica Piacenza are the finalist of Italian volleyball TIM Serie A1 2007/08.
Trentino dominated in first semifinal series, with two 3:0 victories against Roma Volley. Piacenza achieved final thanks to 3:1 victory in the decisive third match against Cuneo. The finals will be battle between two best scorers of the Italian championship. Team of Trento rely on the Bulgarian star Matey Kaziyski while Piacenza has in the team Hristo Zlatanov.
With these semifinal results all teams for the European Cups for the 2008/09 season are defined:
Piacenza will participate in Champions League along with Trento and Macerata, Cuneo will enter the Cev Cup and Treviso will play the Challenge Cup.
