corigliano volleyballItalian team has financial problem. Corigliano is not paying salaries to the players and technical stuff and the president says there will be no payment by the end of the season.

Players, technical staff and physiotherapy inform the public  that the team of Corigliano, advancing from the Serie A2 to A1 Italian Serie last year, is very close to closing the doors. The Italian team is not paying wages and do not have financial conditions to cope with the basic tasks of a team of volleyball.

"The most of players received just three monthly salaries and the rest so far received two. Our desire was to show that we are professionals and we have love for this sport. We did resist until today, looking within ourselves the motivation to always be professional and not quit . But we are working for months in a gym frozen for lack of gas for heating, with a weight room not equipped to athletes of the Serie A1 (or the A2), without hot water enough in the locker room without a connection internet to be able to include and watch the games online without a doctor without furniture in the apartments, so far without washing machines..."

According to the letter, more radical action can still be taken by the players and technical committee, but without revealing what it would be.
