We will try to present in the next day’s articles all the Greek teams performance since now. In this article we will present Olympiakos Panathinaikos, Aris and Iraklis Thessaloniki’s.
Olympiakos in the last Greek games started to show that the team is very good with the best and more effective players than the other Greek teams. In Champions League Olympiakos was not lucky enough, the team play in the harder group with Treviso and Dynamo and has to try more to continue in the next level. Olympiakos has one of the most powerful and talented team in Europe but they do not have Iraklis experience in Champions League to control his performance in a higher lever for European games.
Panathinaikos team is an unexpected team. In their first game in Champions League they played without Agamez but the team seems to be very organized and finally win Jastrzebski Wegiel in Poland. Last week Panathinaikos could not win against Friedrichshafen with Agamez in their roster although the previous year’s Panathinaikos won twice the same team (in Athens and in Friedrichshafen). But on the other hand Panathinaikos beat Piacenza in Italy! In Greek championship Panathinaikos is on the second position and they started to play good games even the team has many injured players.
Iraklis Thessaloniki’s started very good and for many rounds was leading the Greek Championship. There was a problem with Gasparini performance and Iraklis had lost two games with Panathinaikos and EAP. Now Iraklis is on the fourth position and nobody could predict the reaction of this great team in the rest of the games.
Performance of Aris in the first games was very good, they won Olympiakos in Thessaloniki and everything seems to be perfect. After the game with Iraklis where Roumeliotis was injured the team started to be less effective. In the last game Aris lost with Kalamaria and stared to feel insecure about the rest of the season. We have to remind that Aris has only two foreign players in their roster.
The rest of the teams will be presented in the next article.
