Champions League: Revenge of Macerata

Cuneo won the first duel in Macerata, second duel finished after thrilling five sets in favor of Macerata. Golden set is tricky for both teams, this time Macerata was more lucky team.
“All matches with Cuneo are very tough so I am very happy and proud of this result” said Igor Omrcen MVP of the game. “This was the real face of Macerata, not the one we had seen last week. The match has turned into a tough battle, and the golden set is always a kind of lottery,” added Wout Wijsmans, the captain of Cuneo.
Tours was preparing for big fight with Friedrichshafen. Only victory in second duel and win in golden was in the heads of Tours players. Unfortunately Fridrichshafen was against this plan. 2500 spectators saw 124 minutes long battle with a happy end for Friedrichshafen.
