 Lube Banca Marche Macerata and Itas Diatec Trentino are already in the next round of Champions League. Iraklis Thessaloniki and Dynamo Moscow also did not lose one match yet.
Iraklis Thessaloniki won very easy game in Istanbul. Fenerbahce acquired only 35 points in three sets! Russian champions came to Ceske Budejovice without head coach D. Bagnoli. Czech team was fighting but Dynamo did not allow them any surprise. Lube Banca Marche Macerata confirmed their actual form with 3:0 victory over Portol Palma Mallorca even without stars. Macerata head coach Ferdinando De Giorgi commented: “We are playing a match every 3 days, that’s why I decided to line up players that generally stay on the bench. I liked the reactions we had in the first and second set. This qualification is really important because now we can program our work for the next month well in advance”.
